I Recently got one a 1991 firefly red hatchback 3 cylinder 5 speed and It’s
been GREAT I have put 7,000 trouble free kilometres on it. Now I Thought
the valves could only be adjusted on the 1985-’88 Model the early ones with
the carb or was it these ones too?, The 1992+ Models all had hydraulic
valve lash adjusters which of course the head Changed because of that
compared to the 1989-1991 models. I Have videos of my firefly on my channel
check it out So far the car has been great.
There not race cars if you baby them they will give you great mpgs, the
burnt valves are due to not adjusting the valves, they need valve adjusting
after so many miles again and again. I have ten left, going to make
transformers so they will be easier to sell.
Does the ac work what about the head lights
lol, Thanks
first you said it was a pontiac then in the description it says suzuki and
the hubcaps are chevy hubcaps! so what is the car? a kia!?!
Did you turn off the stability and traction controls?
hey you should put the seat belt on, so you don’t get a ticket!! lol great
video man!!
ROFL! this is the sort of wacky sh1t that you DREAM about, wake up, and
think “Wow imagine doing that”. Much Respect =D
Thanks for watching the videos, Yes I did have exhaust valves burn, but it
could have been due to many things, lean burn being the most common thing,
replacing sensors and tune ups may have prevented it, also I put a lot of
miles on them.
Yep that’s a Pontiac, complete rust buckets :/
Now You said you have three more and have owned seven of these cars well
Honestly how dependable were they? I May be buying a red 1990 Pontiac
Firefly 2 door hatch 5 speed 3 cylinder and I Have enjoyed these videos you
have put up. Now have you ever had any problems with the Exhaust valve
burning out on any of your firefly’s.
seriously look like fun
Well now you can drive it at night how’s the Dodge caravan
Haha that made me laugh mate, trying to drag it going as long as possible
😉 Thumbs up*
now that looks like it would be alot of fun.
Lawn mover:D
well ther’s your problem no back ass end
can drive backwards next time
head lights work, ac not so good, but i get a good breeze
It’s a Pontiac firefly with chevy sprint rims and the motors in both of
those cars were built by Suzuki the Suzuki built 1.0L 3 Cylinder engine.
