250 euros per side, u usually get away with one side, u can also pick up a good used axel at tullyalley car breakers, in,drumahoe, L,derry, ask for tommy, or peter, or vance car breakers in castlederg co tyrone,
I had the same idea of using a porta-power to split the rear axle but where did you put the ram to push the trailing arms? Did you use the factory points or somewhere else? My reason for asking is that in you video the ram is attached at only one end but is still attached to the drivers side trailing arm. Did you make a bracket and use the mounting points for the shocks?
my 2001 106 is squeaking from the rear at low speeds, but has passed its MOT recently. The garage said they cudnt hear a squeak but if u push the boot down n compress the suspension its there. Could it be worn out rear beam bushes? how much would it cost to get it done at a different garage? It isnt the pistons as they seems fine.
