whats the hole at the top of the airbox for???

SCOTTCOD4 says:

You really want to Get some carb cleaner put through your carb and maybe
clean your jets out and put a airbox/filter back on ASAP. This should then
help your scooter pulling away and top speeds etc. Mine goes of the clock
at 50mph and iv been clocked at 68mph. So to recap if you get some carb
cleaner and clean your carb which is held on with 2 bolts and clean it all,
and get a airbox on it and it should run loads better. I can put a video up
on how to remove if you need it.

Yes that’s next door there birds going mental.

How does your air filter box connect to the carb? I have recently purchased
an air box for my speedfight, i understand the box is screwed in but
confused as to how it connects to the carb.

hi, i have a speedfight two , im new to all the mechanic side of this moped
, my bike came without the airbox attached and when the bike isba bit cold
it struggles to go anywhere, i was wondering what difference does it make
not to have the air filter off prior to being on and is there a point in
taking it to a shop to get everything all cleaned on it juat hot me back
with a msg great video ill thimbs up it 🙂

SCOTTCOD4 says:

You should have a airbox on it, or some kind of airfilter on it. if you
dont you will suck loads of dirt and rubbish into your carb and also the
air/fuel ratio will be all wrong.

MOW ME DOWN. MOW ME DOWN.

SCOTTCOD4 says:

On mine once i have taken that bottom bolt out, the airfilter should just
pull off the inlet of the carb, theres noting holding it on there, in the
airbox where it connects to the carb theres a rubber seal thats tight and
it grips around your carb inlet. Hope that helps

Espen Olsen says:

There mostly 1 specific way to put it back in, if you put it the wrong way
it will lock up and you cant move your throttle 🙂
