The light is on but my air pump went out about a year after I got it in
2005 & the light has been on since. If I check for codes it will give me
one for the O2 now. It gave it a little more hp. About a few weeks ago I
changed the plugs & went on a trip. I got 29.6 to the gal I haven’t got
that good of mileage since in a few years. When I get a new cat I think I
will do your idea & then replace the resonator with a pipe.
Get a highflow cat and mount the O2S sideways with a fouler not straight up
like the factory, You already have the U-bend deleted which gives some
power. Your check engine light might be on right now and could be killing
your gas mileage. I know its a old car now but did you notice any extra
power?
