Rear Heater Core Replacement – Chevy Venture Pontiac Montana Olds Silouhette 3.4L V6 Engine

This video covers how to replace a leaky rear heater core on a Chevy Venture, Pontiac Montana, Oldsmobile Silhouette and some Pontiac Transport models. The rear heater core can rust out, due to age, but the replacement is relatively easy, after removing the rear trim panel and gaining access to the rear auxiliary heater core. Don't forget Buick Terazza! Would you suggest oiling the O rings before installing?
Thank you, great video.

Thanks for the video. Just finished the job on my '97 Venture. I had to loosen the clamp that holds the two pipes in place in order to be able to push them down and out of the way so that I could pull the old core out. Yours seems not to be pressing up against the pipes. I lost about a quart of fluid onto the ground, wish I had put a pan directly underneath next to the tire. Also wish I had just flipped the seat up like you did instead of removing it and then removing the whole panel. My ACDelco OEM core from Amazon came with two new O-rings.
