Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Lock Cylinder Replacement with Easy VATS Security Bypass

In today’s DIY video I will show you how to replace the lock cylinder on an older model (1990’s era) GM car with the passkey(2) system that has a resistor pellet embedded in the key. In my case it’s a 1995 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency Elite. Also, there are ways to bypass the security (VATS) system, and I chose probably the easiest (albeit a bit cheesy) way to do that. Thanks for making this. I am about to tear into my Eighty Eight steering column to fix the same issue. Tired of zapping myself pulling a plug wire to turn it off lmao!
