just change the sensor

ROBERTFLASH1 says:

It's difficult to react in a traffic situation when you are used to honk your horn from the comfort of the steering wheel rather than getting used to a toggle switch that is out of your reach.

Giller Gaiden says:

Scotty, my 04 Alero Switch is bad but it gets stuck into the on position so this fix wouldn’t work for me right? Because even if I wired it up this way the steering column switch could still trigger it and have it stuck on right?

Does this work if the horn doesn't stop blowing?

I was about to do this method and install a toggle switch for my horn but I was able to get my 2010 Jeep patriot horn to work by changing out the horn button in the steering wheel which wasn't difficult to do. It was actually more troublesome to route wire from my battery and horn to the inside of the cabin

Thanks but I live in Jersey. Gotta have that horn dead center for the quick draw. Along with a comically over dramatic barrage of Italiano curses.

Vincent DiFonzo says:

I just fixed my horn and it wasn't a bad horn, a fuse, a relay, or horn switch. It was corrosion on the wire connector to the horn itself. Simply unplugging and plugging it back it resolved it.

mpkkirk says:

So you run power from the fuse to the switch back to power at the alternator?! Not sure that works …

Media PRO Web Design Galway says:

that's a quick fix but I would not drill in the car interior for something temporary..

5065ca says:
