Downstream o2 Sensor Replacement for 1999 oldsmobile intrigue 3.5l

Downstream o2 Sensor Replacement for 1999 oldsmobile intrigue 3.5l

quick overview of a general replacement of a downstream o2 sensor replacement or replacement of downstream o2 replacement for 1999 Oldsmobile intrigue gls 3.5.

Helpful Tip: There is not enough clearance to fit an o2 sensor socket above the o2 sensor because of the placement of the o2 sensor and the heat shield above it. You won’t be able to fit a 7/8″ wrench to remove the o2 sensor as well because of the angle the wrench would need to be because of the positioning of the o2 sensor. The only method would be to lower the exhaust as far as it would let you by simply removing the rubber exhaust hangers (use a lubricant to help) also support the exhaust and lower it slowly using 2 or 3 hydraulic jacks. Then you should have the clearance to fit a 7/8″ o2 socket or wrench to remove the o2 sensor. Good Luck!

On my 2001 3.5L, it has a reading, but, very sluggish and shows as a pending code. Cheap Bosch O2 sensor not working correctly. It worked for a while until it rained for a week and my O2 sensor got messed up. P0141 is the error code number according to my BlueDriver OBD2 Bluetooth scanner.
