That’s true, sometimes I’d like to strangle a GM Engineer. Getting to the thermostat on this car is almost impossible. I gave up after an hour of trying to get the throttle body off
I can’t work on the newer ones. I prefer pre-’96 models.
That’s why I like them too! Parts are relatively cheap too.
It’s nice that a lot of parts interchange but it would have been nice if they would have given more thought about leaving more room to install them without having to take other things off. Another half inch can really make a difference.
I miss the cars and trucks made in the 1960’s the new cars are so cramped for space under the hood, it is almost the same as working on a airplane when you work on a new car.
one of the reasons that make an old gm car or truck great is that most of the parts fit just about every model and there is no shortage of replacements for them.
