Just like a golf cart does it, Generator is the starter. I would think it’ll start it if the belt grips.
I think you may destroy a really hard to find generator in that attempt. The windings are very small gauge wire and was designed fox a max output of 28 amps.
Use a big drill to turn the crank to start engine
