Cheers for this mate worked like a charm! Saved me sister paying out 30
quid for halfords to do it
What if I have to remove the side panels and the whole front panel, how do
I do that? My “extension” fell into the dash board and I can see it, but
can’t reach it with just lifting the front “desk” a little bit.
Any videos on that?
Great job, just changed my mates stereo for him, one extra wee tip when
putting stereo and vents back in , it is easier to place the two vents into
the tubes where the air comes up in the dash behind the stereo and then
just reintroduce the stereo with metal bracket and plastic dash front as
the vents got in my way when clipped into the front piece. when almost in
just put fingers around the trim and click vents forwards into their
original places
The hardest part is loosening the top bit of the dash and removing the
holding bolt at the back. The rest is pretty self explanatory. The bolt
under the dash is hidden, and lifting up the dash is also awkward which
would have more useful to see. This basically starts half way through the
removal. The bolt is briefly mentioned.
No Problem – Have fun!
I have just followed all your instructions and it worked fantastically well
,no problem at all, its the best clip to follow, as the other ones I looked
at said move all the trims down the pillars, which as this video tells you
is absolutely not necessary, so again, thanks very much
I’d like to try this on a Micra sport sr 2007 but the facia is completely
different. There is a cd player in place of the little storage box and
surely the hole that is left would be too big for my own radio?Have you
done one?
thanks
A lot of people say that! Tips and tricks 😉 Subscribe!
skipped the hardest bit! Removing the bolt at the top.
Haha, Its worth a go, Its not as scary as you first think!
How do u take the actual CD player out
ok im not trying this on my mom’s car anymore lol
Thanks very much for this video. Gonna change the stereo in my 2004 k12
next month and now I know how to:)
The video is from start to finish with nothing missed out. The lifting of
the dash is as simple as it is shown on the video by pushing your trim tool
between the two parts and using your free hand to lift is so you can gain
access to the bolt. Removing the bolt is a little hard to film on my own im
afraid. You use an extensoin with a 10mm socket in the center of the dash.
If you look into the dash when you lift it you will see the bright silver
bolt you need to remove.
No, Problem, Glad it helped!
can i fit a 7-inch indash cd player in a 2003 nissan march?
Nothing was edited on the main content of the video. Every video we upload
is pretty much live and as its done. If you have any questions, don’t
hesitate to ask.
Worked well, although it’s essential to apply some force at times. But I
broke nothing and new audio is on its place 🙂
Thank you so much. Fantastic help.
very useful 😉 thanks for the share
