Just out of curiosity, how is this different from the Pathfinder removal? I
have the ’06 Frontier with the stock radio and the stock radio in a
pathfinder is pretty much the same from what I’ve seen…

(I also have a ’05 pathfinder with the Bose system)
I’d imagine all the layouts (stock, Bose, Rockford Fosgate) are similar,
no?

Ziya Cuvadar says:

good job. Friendly suggestion for you to maybe get a video editing software
to remove the unwanted footage. Its not any harder than taking that stereo
off :)

Thom Holland says:

Nice job! I have always done my own work. I think I will leave this job
to the professionals.

NothingPersonal says:

Thank you very much! Well done!

Thomas Rice says:

Helped a lot, thank you

BRYS49ERS says:

This will be my weekend project. Thanks for the video.

Andrew A says:

VERY helpful!

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Remove one of the battery terminals, usally negative is easier for five
minutes. This is a “Reset” and may bring the changer back to working.
Otherwise, this is a repair issue. Something we see common in shop. See our
website for shipping and repair rates.

I mistakenly pressed eject instead of load when I was trying to place a cd
in stereo and the system neither ejects nor loads CDs, on display it says
ERR 3 . Any suggestions and advise how to fix this problem? My car stereo
is PY218 6 CD changer

Tony Garza says:

The stupid stereo company broke my dash that goes around the radio and
stereo for my 06 Nissan Frontier CrewCab. They said they did’nt break
anything, but I see they work is very rough on dashboards and covers and
they want to get down to the stereo as quck as they can. Very
unprofessional.

martianshoes says:

Evidently a lot of other Nissan Frontier owners have CD problems as I do.

usaearthling says:

Thanks for posting, I got it taken out.

Chanh Ngo says:

It does help. Thanks

kdschutube says:

Yeah– BE CAREFUL! from 40 seconds to 50 seconds is BULLSHIT in this video.
And THANK YOU for helping me break that part of my dash. The little clips
holding that piece go into 4 slots– 2 on each side. In the video, you can
see the lower pair of these slots — one on each side. They plug in and
have a release tab to remove the part. I have successfully broken every
goddam one of them. Watching this again, that top piece was already clearly
LOOSE and just sitting there. Goddamit!

Braiden Sellers says:

Thanks man

HR L says:

Very informative, I wanted to take mine out and did not know where to
start.
