Awesome video: short and sweet! Question is why Nissan had to reinvent the wheel; I shouldn't need youtube to figure out how to remove connectors!

01 infiniti throttle sensor connectors were kicking my butt. You sir win the internet.

Francisco Briseno says:

Nice. I would've pry it up then down then break it off. I never had the idea it would be manufactured that complicated, but it appears great for the removal process. Thank you for the video. Lastly, can you do more short videos on the other type of connectors and if possible, the repair of the connector and size of pins? Thanks.

Is this the egi harness? Nissan wants to charge me 700 for the ego harness replacement and 900 dollars for the labor. Please let me know if I could do it myself on a 2014 altima TIA

i hate how difficult it is to disconnect those connectors.. i wonder if there's a way to lubricate them, so that they slide off easier.. maybe a little WD40 will make come apart easier?? Has anyone tried anything like that?

Nice, very nice–can't believe there were 5 thumbs down, very smooth action after learning from your video.  Thank you for sharing, I cannot believe you are only approaching 9K views–method works great.

Peter Jensen says:

Thank you very much for this video, more of these kinds please. It is a surprisingly big problem to detach the varies connectors in your car. In many DIY videos they tell people which socket to use here and there but when they detach connectors they often do it without comments or close up. It should be opposite.
