+Robert Ridgewell i shoved my hand down there along with a socket and a
ratchet. This was by far the hardest part. You just have to keep working at
it to get it. Idk of an easier way but that is how I did it.
And what bracket did you have to file down? Because i didnt have to file
anything to get mine in? Just trying to figure out if that could be why it
doesnt go into 5th gear
Umm when you say can i move it around a lot do you mean from side to side
or from front to back? And i out the bushings in that came with the
shifter. I have only had it installed for about two days now?
My shifter wont go into 5th gear but goes in to all the other gears fine.
When i try to out it into 5th it will grind. It seems like its not able to
go far enough forward to get into 5th. Do you know how to fix that?
how did you remove the bolt after 4:55 to get the whole thing off, and then
put it back on?
will installing a new short shifter fix a loose stick?
My shifter won’t go into 1st gear and the only way to get into first is if
I shift into second and slam it into 1st , I checked the shifter and I
found that the upside down bolt is missing and the part it holds down is
loose and flops around could this be the cause of my shifter not going into
1st correctly?
How did you go about removing the upside down bolt under the shifter?
