The black sealing gunk is an oem standard sealant for the tail lights.
Rubber/foam tail light seals for ebay tail lights will not maintain a good
seal. Use the oem black sealing caulking.
I fell in love with the 300zx when I first saw it. My desire is to have a
white 2+2 model with black interior like yours. Put a twin turbo in it and
ride it with the tops off and music blasting. I like how you keep a clean
look on your car and not that ricey shit.

honestly, i just snapped the antenna off, and patched the hole with a vynil
Cf wrap to flatten it, after that i took it to a personal expert with
stereos and had him put a custom shark fan antenna, because those are much
stronger and better for signal, plus it has a sporty look. overall that is
what i did, hope that helps out in any ideas. GL!
I know that feels bro, you should of seen it when i was sitting in the junk
ready to get crushed cause no one payed attention to it. But i was glad to
be the one to pull it out and bring it back to life little by little, This
is just the start dude! The paint job, body and interior is getting
restored next week and the wheels are already coming in from japan in 3
weeks! Stay tuned, and see the transformation!

warning lights are also turn signals and corner lights, those bulbs have 2
circuits going through the wiring.. from what i know in Electrical theory
it COULD be possible that your bulb is just reversed its a simple problem
of just turning the bulb around and insert again :] Also since you can as
well check the fuse box and see if the resistors are ok. if any of them are
popped then they have to be replaced or else you have an electrical failure
and thats dangerous especially in the night
To make a long story short got info to use usdm harness which solved the
light issue but added a slight problem with the turn signal fitment on the
jdms. Removing one tab from the light socket made that headache go away,
got that info from here also 🙂 Now the turn signals are white which is
cool but probably illegal in all 50 states :0

Bro i give u props for havin a Z but looks like u got alotta exterior work
to do but i admire your optimism. Also your tail lights should’ve came with
a new black snake-like gasket to prevent leakage, they all have that sticky
seal on the old ones. Wanted to see how you took your old lights out cause
mine were a pain removing, it was 40 degrees at night with no heat gun or
hair dryer….big mistake. Trial an error i guess, anyway thanks for

hello what about the radio antenna idk how to take it off? and like i took
the original radio from my 92 300zx but it doesnt have the andtenna
conection do i take it to some one that knows how to install it or i can
just do it or is it too much shyt

(also) im doing a project to give the dash and all lights in the car to use
lighter bulbs.
BTW I put 8Ks on my silver 300zx. They are nice looking.
lmao yeah id agree with the illegal part, honestly coming from experience
try your best to not look for the trouble. you could swap the orange color
to red turn signals instead though, those are still pretty good :]
One more thing i’am sure your Z is happy now in your care cause before you
there was none. lol
My warning light is on since installing jspecs even though all lights are
working, what could the problem be? Wandering if removing the battery post
would help?

the gooey stuff is the sealant that the manufacturer put to insure light
would bond and seal also keeps it from rattling kinda like a gasket seal, I
did mines a few years back and yupp huge difference in looks, Im looking
for tutorial on changing out the antenna mast so if you or anyone knows of
one please share me the link, thanks.
