"Start by removing the hood."
Ok! I'll pause the video, do that, and come back!
– 5 hours later
Ok! Hood off, time for the next steps!
"That's just for the video. You can leave the hood on."
shoots self
(Great video though.)
I'm doing plugs and wires on a 96 3.3L, lol it has 330K on it. Found the plugs hard to come out, so I sprayed some penetrating fluid down by the spark plugs, makes them come out easier. The plugs I pulled out had .070 gap VS new at .040. LOL
Much rather toyota products. If you have the option swap this 3.5 for a 2jz engine you'll love your pathfinder more
muy bueno amigo
Tip……use the custom spark plug removal socked wrenches Type A and B that come in the tool kit with most Pathfinders. Look under carpet rear seat passenger side.
when should I change the sparks . cold or hot engine temperature
Hi, am experiencing a stuck spark plug issue. I tried to loosen it by spraying wd40 onto it. But still its too tight and i may break it if apply more pressure to it. Is there any chance i can replace it?.
I used a 6 inch 3/8" drive wobble extension, not an extension with a knuckle like the video, i used a wobble extension for the #6 spark plug. It made the job much easier than anything else i tried. Mainly cause i didnt have a flexible ratchet head like him
Good grief, that 6th spark plug is a nightmare. What was Nissan thinking??
Look under the carpet rear passenger seat….. the tool kit includes the two spark plug removal tools. They make the job easy! Good video….
We found the plug thanks to the video, but our wrench won't catch on it for some reason. We have a magnetic one too. I can feel it find the plug but it just doesn't fit on there, it was a 5/8 magnetic extension
Same process for 99 infiniti qx4?
Amazing job! Neat and clean.
