2011 rogue 7mm

Chris Freeman says:

I performed this today on my 2014 Nissan Murano. Went just like you showed it, but it did require a 7mm socket like was mentioned below. I disconnected the negative battery connection to clear the check engine light. When I went to reconnect, the horn started going off. It was the alarm tripping. So to fix that, I put the connector on the terminal pole, and with my key fob, I quickly locked, then unlocked my doors, and the alarm stopped. Thank you for posting this!

Chris Hall says:

I performed this change last night on a 2011 Nissan Rogue and it required a 7mm socket, not 6mm, just as an FYI.

Afterward, disconnected the positive pole of the battery for 1-2 minutes and the check engine light went off.

I just cleaned my MAF and now my car is ideling like it’s going to cut off

IonNuke says:

If the MAF is dirty sometimes it probably won't light up the check engine since air is still passing through?? (I'd figure its just the computer won't be able to regulate airflow and the fuel injectors would probably improperly supply fuel causing RPMs to fluctuate while driving.

gmoneyga84 says:

my car has been acting funny and warm days – – the other day it was stalled and would not start but when I unplugged the MAF it started right up–does this mean the MAF is bad?
