All you have to do is pry out the little black plastic well from the outside and change the bulb. No need to take all of that off the trunk.

Whats this too hard job for only one bulb it should be factory made it easier because the bulb is burnt most of the times actually they didn’t want you to do it by yourself you have to take car for mechanic every single times

Thank you for the steps. I have a 2019 Nissan Versa S Plus. I had to use an 8 mm socket since 10 mm was to big for the nuts. I replaced the two license plate factory bulbs with T10 LED bulbs. Also the trunk lid had a liner. I needed to remove all the fasteners holding it in place using fastener removal tool.
