This is a very difficult job. I had to use sticky tape on a screwdriver to get the old cabin filter out. Filter is in a stupid location for access. Only a dealership would delight in the fact that it's so difficult to change that you would have to pay for the service. I'm a 74 year old woman and I refuse to let Nissan get the better of me on this…. so I did it myself.
Absolute stupidest design ever. The clip will not go back in as hard as you try. Left it barely clipped in and wobbling I’m done.
Mine is stuck in there from previous owner i dont know how to get it out
I should know I have an Altima and have destroyed 2 trying to fit them….not the fault of the filter manufacturers.
This is the worst cabin air filter design in automotive history! Great job Nissan…….
