Excellent video! Exact process and all lights are now back in action,
thanks! My total time was about 45 minutes, including watching this video.
Saved me a ton doing it myself! Appreciate it!
You would have to remove the bulb to see what type it takes, or the dealer
could run your VIN# and tell you what your car came equipped with.

great video, is there a way know which type of headlight bulb an 06 Maxima
uses with out taking out the bulb first? the manual states D2S for xenon
and 9012 for Halogen
awesome video!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!
You might be able to reach behind them to change the bulbs. If there’s no
room, then they would need to come out.1aauto.com 888-844-3393
to your knowledge, do i have to do this whole process if i have to change
out my parking light bulbs?
We currently do not have a video that shows you how to aim the headlights.
this is the worst!!!! car to change a light blub, i have a 05 max to i
thought there would be a ez way but if this is the only way omg makes me
want to get a new car lol
quick question can you install the ballast on the new headlights because i
notice it doesn’t have one like the old one does ..
My headlights go out about once a year. Could there be a moisture problem?
Can you also clean them on the inside? I have a 2004. Thanks. Jenifer
I just bought a 05 maxima. Are the headlights HID?
If they turn off completely, there may be an issue with the headlight
switch, or if they tend to be dim, look for a loose ground wire in the
engine compartment. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
great video its exactly what i was looking for. wish you had a video for
replacing the projector lenses.
Thanks!
How about a video on clutch replacement? I have a 2004 6spd and clutch is
going to need replacement soon, would be nice to have an idea of how to go
about it.
It can by a little tricky, but hopefully our video helps you out. Have a
great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
The electrical system is different, you would need to replace them with HID
lights. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
I have a 2004 Maxima with HID headlights. I have a passenger side headlight
with a crack in it which caused water to leak in my headlight and ruin it.
I was wondering if I could replace the HID headlight with a Halogen
Headlight assembly. Would I need to make any modifications to my car or do
I just plug it in and install it?
You may be able to get one from the dealer, if you missing one.
You’re welcome. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
You can’t replace just the lens because it’s a fused piece from the
factory. The headlight assembly may be removed in a similar way as the
halogen ones in this video. There may be a few different steps in removing
them. Here’s a link to them on our website. Just copy and paste into your
browser

nice tanks
Unfortunately we do not have a vehicle to do the replacement on for the
ballast.
If you have the dealer run your VIN # they can tell you if you car was
equipped with them.
Do you have a video on aiming the headlights
You showed how to get the headlight, blinker, and fog light to come out,
but how do you get the high beams out?
I have replaced mine by taking off the front tire and going from
underneath. This is the proper way though. Those pins always get lost or
broken.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I have a 2006 Maxima and
used your directions. A pain in the ass, but it was just as you said. You
just saved me $250 in labor charges at the Nissan dealership. I also ended
up saving money by not buying the expensive stock Nissan halogen lights and
bought standard 9006 halogen lights. They’re not as bright and the tabs
needed to be slightly adjusted but all is good.
