What’s going on guys in today’s video we will be installing some HID headlights on the Nissan Altima 3.5 SE. I was able to salvage some ballast from a previous Altima that I had so all in all this install didn’t cost me anything.

Will the headlamps of the SER fit 2004 Altima sl?
Do u recommend keeping the snorkel on for the air filter to get more air or should I have it removed I currently have in the trunk because I figured more air in the bay itself the better?
Nice job! It may have been easier to take the bumper off…did mine in about 15 minutes minutes since J just replaced one if the bulbs
I bought an hid kit when a front headlight went out on my 03 Altima 3.5l SE. Turns out i didn't even need the kit and the HID lights were stock and came in a sports package, along with Bose Sound system, sunroof, spoiler and all leather seating. My mechanic told me, _i had some bolts on it and it had some good pick up" I wasn't even sure what he meant by that, guess he meant it had some mods on it.
LEDs are better and less expensive
I applaud you for being able to make an HID set from older parts; however, I will suggest something different.
Upgrade your headlight system (and probably the rest of the exterior lights) to LEDs! IMO, LEDs are much better than HIDs. They don't require a ballast (resistors or a relay at maximum, and that's only to disable error messages/lights and hyperflashing of turn signals), they are USUALLY plug and play (if you get them from a reputable source like superbrightleds[dot]com), and they won't eat up NEAR as much power/current as stockies/HIDs will.
Same car SE 3.5 but passenger side out. Put replacement bulb but only works now when holdimg back on light switch were option for bright light n fog lights. Do I need a baliice instead of that bulb them?
