I think the middle one controls the taillights and dash lights yes. I had a
situation where my dash lights wouldnt come on either. I had to take the
switch apart 3 times before it started working on a normal basis, havent
had a problem for a month. Just keep readjusting the prongs and testing
until it works, thats what i did

Thank you for this tutorial. I was going insane trying to get this one
headlight to work and in the process my tail lights started working again.
I did this yestarday but now today I went to use my headlight switch and my
dash lights will not come on as well as my tail lights. The middle prong
that you have labeled “Exterior/Room Lights”, does this include tail lights
and dash back light?

Great video, but this doesn’t always work. It worth a try due to the price
of a new switch. Be careful not to bend the contact arm to much while
sanding or over sand them as this will increase the distance between the
contact points and not allow a contact to be made.
