In this episode I finally tackle the car paint repair for my 300ZX. I repair some dents and scratches with Bondo body filler, block sand and body work, and prime my car for the DIY paint job. I turn my garage into a DIY paint booth with painter’s plastic and masking tape and do all of my autobody prep work, and test my luck with a cheap Amazon paint gun for my respray. I’m using a single stage Matrix automotive paint, hardener, reducer, thinner, and wax grease remover and keeping it under a budget of $180.

i bet the neighbours heard some very loud swear words when you were leaving the shed with the plastic.incident, i know mine would of. you should of bloody slept in there lol, im sure you'll make it all good in the end, great work and effort as usual
Next week: “I paint the fenders too because I find out my black paint was one shade lighter/darker than factory!” Lol
Bummer on the fish eyes. From what I know about auto paint and body (which isn’t a lot) the only way to fix that is sand down and repaint.
Painting a car in your garage is no joke. Hopefully the buffing and wet sanding fix most of the issues.
I gotta have the reveal right now
Can I bring over my 89 Saab needing a reshoot? 🙂
You did a great job in this episode!
Great work as always! Loving how it's coming along. Agreed on the music, maybe switch it up. Also, maybe it's a personal preference but I think you could do a voice-over on a lot of the stuff instead of stopping and talking. Just a thought, again though good job!
I love the 300zx videos
Keep it up
