Today on DIY WILLY we’re installing a new NATIKA (Model WD-011) Back up Camera in my sons 2008 NISSAN Frontier 4.0 V6. The camera will go in as close as I can get to the factory location. Really easy install and a perfect project for a DIY’er. After completing the install I cut the purple wire on the harness to switch the camera from the sitting to the hanging setting. Everything worked perfectly as expected.

Super helpful thank you!! I bought a new touchscreen stereo that had the option to come with a decent camera so I bought it. For your stereo, did you have to buy an aftermarket mounting kit, or were you able to use the factory mounting brackets? I'm worried that the angle of my new stereo is a little steeper than the stock stereo and it may not lie flush with the bezel once installed!

Thanks for the video. I've been wanting to do this to my 05 Nissan Frontier and actually wanted to buy a newer year tailgate cover with camera. I don't like the camera on license plate look.What kind of radio do you have if you don't mind me asking?
