Thank you for posting this video! I am in the middle of doing it myself
and ran into the same issue with the lower alt mounting nut. I used a
dremel cutoff wheel to shorten a 14mm deep socket (the frame being right
there, really limits clearances). That, along with a 3/8 drive breaker
bar, got the nut to spin, but I think the bolt is spinning along with it!
Urgh! Not sure how I’m gonna get a socket on the bolt end.. Gonna check
some Nissan forums for helpful tips.. Will update..
UPDATE: Well, I got the nut off.. Just felt weird for the first few
turns, once breaking it free.. BTW- there is no socket end on the bolt ;
) Cant wait to put in the new one … I will try the fishing
line method to get the lower bolt in.

How many miles did your Quest have when the alternator failed?

roluardo says:

TPMS. Low tire pressure vs bad sensor. Properly inflate tires. With bad
sensor, notice missing tire pressure reading on car display. Identify bad
sensor by elimination. With car off, turn key to on, look at car display &
start inflating tires sequentially & if sensor good you will see pressure
show on display as you inflate tires. Listing on ebay sensor for Quest 2006
w/ alloy wheels. If need different one or for international shipping email
me. Plan to also list sensor programming tool on ebay.
