Stephen Mayo says:

Is this guy serious? It takes 30 seconds to change the filter by unclipping
2 clips and sliding the old out and the new in..done.
I agree with others, K&N Filters are the way to go :-)

Shane Mccahon says:

WOW! This guy really over complicated a 30 second job. Filter box has two
top mounted clips. My wife with no mechanical experience fitted ours in
two minutes. Why on earth has this bloke gone to all the trouble of
removing the front airduct and other attachments?

Mohamed Salah says:

can you explain how to clean the air sensor flow (maf) in magna 2005

Heath Stott says:

The degisn is such that you need only to remove the top to clips. Slide the
filter out (carefully so as not to disturb the area). Then oil the new seal
around the edges of the filter and slide into place, (a little oil is the
key to an easy fitment) then whilst re- connecting the top to clips just
ensure the side edges are even. Job is done simple.

KJ-Verada VR-Xi says:

I agree, That’s how I do it on my 2001 TJ undo the top 2 clipsslit the old
filter old and the new one in easy as that, Although I dont have to pull
mine out to often as it’s a K&N filter over the standard paper type filter
(Makes sense to initially spend $81.50 on a filter that has a 1 million
mile warranty over spending $25+ every few months pending on how quickly
rack up 10,000km or your area if it’s dusty the K&N comes out hosed off and
back in every 3 months in a coastal area easy as that)
