Jared demonstrates the installation of the MHK2 Wall Thermostat. The MHK2 wireless thermostat features a sleek, energy-efficient design that’s perfect for any room. It has an intuitive touchscreen interface that makes it easy to change settings and track your energy use. The MHK2 is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, so you can control your temperature without ever having to leave your seat. The MHK2 Thermostat is a better option because is has more features and is easier to use than the standard ceiling cassette remote for Mitsubishi.

Uhh ok "mhk2 install tips" but you walk over to the wall and it's already installed -_-
Thanks for the videos and info. I just purchased the 2025 MLZ system with 7 zones. I am still getting used to it after having a gas furnace forever. The installers recommended using the Auto change over mode for heating. I have tried to use this mode but always feels colder in the main living/kitchen area. Never feels that comfy.. I use a separate thermometer to see what the actual temp of the room is (I wish I could see this on the remotes or indoor unit). Set temp AND actual temp. Strange it doesn't have this unless I'm missing something. The thermometer reads pretty close to what the temp set point is but feels colder than what I'm used to with the old furnace. When I use heat mode, it feels a lot warmer but seems to overheat. It doesn't shut off even when the temp hits the set point. It set it at 70 and still continues to heat even when the thermometer reads 78. I have to manually shut it off. I would like to upgrade to the MHK2. Will this help manage the zones more effectively? Thanks
I just updated my MLZ-KY06NA with the MHK2. The directions shown here were similar but it wasn't as easy to install for me because there was a black part that contained the electrical connections that I had to remove before I could pull down the pc board. I also had to remove the ground wire to access the pc board. Also, the connector was white so not as easy to identify but it was the one in the middle of the board.
Hello just for my understanding. Installing this optional thermostat results in measuring the room temperature at the new place of the new thermostat? So for heating it will be much better i guess.
I have wallmounted units installed for heating and in the smaller rooms Even though the Offset was increased from 2 to 4 i cant reach the desired temperature because the Unit will go thermo off to soon…
Thanks for the demo! Do you know if these can be used together with the Kumo Cloud PAC-USWHS002-WF-2 wireless adapters? Or if a single indoor unit can only use either control type exclusively?

Is there any Thermostat can be replaced with Mitsubishi Duct Spilt Wall 2 wire thermostat?
I have six units in a barn, can this theromast do more than one unit at a time
I have a York. I can set it at 60 and it will get down to 60.
I have the SVZ-KP30NA indoor air handler ducted system. High humidity levels right now and it seems like there is a drying mode I keep hearing about, but can’t set my MHK2 to dry. Do you have any info on this? Thanks!
Thank you! Question: did you set Central Controller to installed? I only see the Auto Changeover option if I use the default of Central Controller not
installed. I just have one ducted air handler. Should I use default Central Controller not installed?
How do you change the temp range when in heating mode? I have a SVZ-KP24NA model. 68 degrees as a minimum temp for heating is crazy. Thanks
I just moved into a place with this but it’s completely blank , not sure how to use it, or turn on.
"The largest transition of mechanical equipment in the USA" – that's amazing!
I have mitsubishi. Outdoor unit is for 2 inside units at 22,000 BTUs. The H2i kind. I love it. BUt i have to agree with another person that they make you spend hundreds of dollars for the ability to control via Internet. Japanese companies (e.g., cars like Toyota) typically do this. They focus on the durability. THe cars and AC units will last forever, but they are VERY slow in adapting and incorporating latest tech. It is like they do not want to fix that which is not broken.
Anyone know how to change a low battery on one of these square, wall thermostat's?
I pair the receiver and remote successfully, then the receiver goes into 'wait' mode and never changes. Devices are still paired, even after redoing the entire process. 'wait' mode forever…. any ideas? TIA
It is mind-boggling that Mitsubishi uses these as control units. Such old technology.
Thanks sharing all your knowledge with the WORLD!

I just had 3 MLZ-KP09 units and one MSZ-FH09 installed with MXZ-SM36NAM outdoor unit. The units don't seem to stop at the set temp using the remote. Was told this MHK2 was the solution. Do you know how the MLZ cassettes measure what room temp is? Is it a sensor projecting down several inches or is it a sensor in the return? If I install the MHK2 does the cassette use the temp measured at the stat to run and stop when it has reached the set point for desired room temp? Thanks
Do you need 1 receiver and wall mounted thermostat for each head unit?
Do they come as a set?
Thanks
I just recently installed 5 Mitsubishi ceiling cassettes. Is there a setting so the fan doesn't run all the time I'm always feeling a cold breeze when not heating
Jared another great video! Do you have a brand of line hide you like to use? There is a tone of cheap Chinese brands out there…
Love the channel. Quick question..my MLZkp09 works great but it seems to pop and click quite a bit..is this normal? Is there something I could do to remedy the noise? Thanks for the help.
68 is to high how about if you not using the space would want to lower to 50 or so. Just tealized you may be taking about ac ,i was thinking about heating .
