some will want you to take the car in, others will want you to pay via cc
before they give you the code, but if you persist you will find one that
will give it to you for free, just remember to have your vin number ready,
they will need it to identify your specific model code.

Shickenshire says:

Thanks for this big help!

Byceptor says:

Radio codes for any car can be obtained for free simply by calling
different dealers for your model. I have done it for 3 different cars I’ve
owned, mitsi, toyota and ford, all you need is the vin number, google
dealers in your area for your model or nation wide, give them a call and
one will give it to you free over the phone :-)

Sawyer Burton says:

Leaving it ON does not mean your car is RUNNING. Turn it to the forward
most on position without actually starting your car.

itsbeenused89 says:

Why the FUCK should I have to enter a four digit code to enjoy listening to
my GODDAMN radio when I pay 25,000 for my car BRAND NEW. It makes no sense.
FUCK mitsubishi

Elaine Cousins says:

will try this….thanks garage booger-ed up my radio while “fixing” my car

nicolesluv08 says:

I have a Mitsubishi gallant 2001, and it didn’t work on the infinity model,
any suggestions?!

Rory Redding says:

That is incorrect. Dealership charges $25 to tell you how to clear it, so
go to mitsubishi cars dot com and click on Owners at the top. Next, under
Resources, click Radio Code Retrieval. Enter your radio’s serial#, part#,
and car VIN, and they will email you your code. In the PDF accompanying the
instructions, it says you really do have to have to have the radio on for 1
hour before OFF will clear and you can enter the code. No other way about
it, stupid as it is, but it worked for me.

NURSHOD GAYRATOV says:

Andrei Rabacu says:

hi …i have a mits 3gt 1993… and i need the code to unlock te player…
somebody can help me? thx

tzuboysmom says:

Regarding the MItsubishi Eclipse GT code input, these didn’t work for my
2000, but what did work was putting in my code (which I had the card) and
rather than hit CD, I hit TAPE. It then worked and all else worked. Hope
this helps. I couldn’t find the directions in the manual. It kept saying to
refer to the directions, but I could not find any.

Jennies Garage says:

Sometimes if you call the dealer, and ask nicely, they will give you the
code. They might tell you to bring the car in, though.

Angel Roman says:

I trie it and now it said off and cannot find out the code

Jennies Garage says:

Hi, I’m not sure where it’s written on the 2001 galant, but if you call a
Mitsubishi dealer and ask nicely, they can give you the code.

Luis Patino says:

I put in the wrong code 3 times because I accident

Shinder Singh says:

hey i have mitsubhishi 2002 some one plz give me the code thanks

Bennie G says:

Thanks alot. The manual didn’t say anything about pressing the CD button.

Jennies Garage says:

Sounds like possibly the amplifier is toast.

Jennies Garage says:

@xB1GKILLERX I think if you disconnect the battery for a couple hours, it
will allow you to enter the code again.

androfred says:

Guys to get the code you need to call Mitsubishi and ask them for it, they
will ask you for the serial code of your radio and possibly your VIN, you
can get that serial code by: Having it done at Mitsubishi for 100$ or
Taking out your dashboard and getting the serial number that is on top of
the radio and then calling Mitsubishi.

Pooja123Roy says:

Jennies Garage says:

Try leaving it on for 1 hour. The “off” should disappear, and when you push
the radio’s power button, “code” should appear. Good luck!

Try disconnecting the battery for an couple of hours. That should reset
everything. Thanks!

@techken26, ortizdiaz10 – u guys need to disconnect the battery. Re-install
& switch on the car key to ‘acc’ then leave it for an hour. After that the
screen will turn to ‘code’. Hope it helps

Nichole Hillis says:

helped me soo much thank you!! and btw I had the same radio code you had in
this video.. oddly ..

Jennies Garage says:

I just did a little more research on Mitsubishi radios. Try this: 1:Turn
the key to on or accessory. 2:Push the power button so that the radio
display says off. 3:Let the car sit for 1 hour. 4:The radio display will go
blank. 5:Turn the radio on and it will say code again.

Anthony Patterson says:

Do you need to put the code in to take out the radio
