Greetings, my question is, if I replace my OEM intercooler with yours, will
I need a tune (my vehicle is stock and all I have is an air filter)? My
other question is, are the fins in the Mishimoto intercooler stronger than
OEM (I am actually wanting to upgrade because I am tired of little rocks
bending my OEM intercooler fins)?
Great question! This intercooler was designed with straight fins, which
allows for minimal pressure loss, while still offering increased cooling
efficiency. Because of this design, this intercooler is a great addition to
a stock or modified Evo X! We did perform testing on a staggered fin pitch
design, but the core proved to be too dense and caused a large pressure
drop. This design only proved to be beneficial with very large turbo
setups. Please let me know if you have any other questions. ๐
Is the fin design straight through or is it offset and staggered like how
the ETS intercoolers are?
The ralliart intercooler is smaller than the Evo X core, so this will not
be a direct-fit.
Does it fit a ralliart?
We do not have a direct fit intercooler kit for the 2g eclipse at this
time. I would recommend looking at our line of universal intercoolers. We
have a large range of different cores to fit everyone’s specific needs! ๐
Do y’all make an intercooler for a Mitsubishi 2g eclipse
Unfortunately we do not make an intercooler for the 3G Eclipse. I would
recommend looking at our line of universal intercoolers. We have a large
range of different cores to fit everyone’s specific needs! Let me know if
you have any other questions. ๐
Dose MishiMoto do intercooler for the 3g Eclipse?
Great work
Hi there, sorry for the late response! Yes, as long as the product is
advertised as a direct fit for your specific vehicle, then you can simply
replace the factory intercooler with ours! It’s that easy. ๐
This intercooler is a direct fit for the Evo, so some modification will be
necessary to fit it to a Lancer.
Good video thanks for the step by step instructions
New to tunners This fits a 2012 evo x mr correct… would this gain around
10 whp?
Hi Peter- Unfortunately, the dyno results aren’t available. However, this
will reduce air charge temperature which results in more power throughout
the entire RPM range. This increase in efficiency will only be compounded
with additional modifications/increases in boost. -Brian
Will this intercooler fit the 2013 Lancer GT??
Funny, like the Vid
If I have a stock intercooler I can just take off the old one and put a
after market one just like that? It’s that simple? Take one off and put the
new one on?
About how much are the HP and Torque gains?
hi, do you have a link of you doing pro drift?
Awesome! You’re welcome! -Julia
tough to choose i was going to go with ETS FMIC but i love Mishimoto but no
dyno numbers is not helping. I think this will fit the RA as well with
upgraded LICP and UICP
Hi there- Unfortunately, we do not have dyno results at this time but we do
know that this intercooler significantly reduces air temperatures. We’ve
recently purchased a dyno at our new facility so hopefully we can get these
results sometime in the near future. Although we have not tested with those
parts, judging by images and such they should work just fine with our
intercooler. Thanks. -Brian
Thank you and you’re welcome! -Julia
Made me want this soooo much more then I already do!!!!! Hahaha might go
with the stealth one tho!!! Good vid!! Thanx!
Hi there, I assume you’re looking for a video๏ปฟ of Matt? I can’t provide a
link here but search for “Matt Waldin” and multiple videos will come up!
-Brian
Hi there, Unfortunately we don’t have those results at this time. We
recently purchased a new DYNO and will update the product page on our
website, once we run these test. Thanks -Brian
