Hi Jim, thanks for the great video. Our son just purchased an 05 Mitsubishi Galant with this same issue. I was with him when inspecting the car and he almost didn't buy it. I came across your video and told my son what you figured out the problem was. He bought the vehicle and I did the temporary fix, until the replacement wire harness comes.

Jim question got a 06 Volvo XC90 with a blower issue first thing is that I don't use the fan manual I use the auto set temperature but times blower won't come on and then times it will now when I turn the fan knob the dial lights jump around and still can't get blower to come on can u tell me what it could be

Hi mY Good Friend Jim!!! A little reminder for all DIY; Before condemn any part of the A / C syst. must verify; Current (+, -), amperage (AMP measure  ), signal ect..ect..depending on the fault in the system. for example;Many "DIY" When they find that the "blower resistance" its bad, they just condem it and replace it! Without knowing that the source of their problem is at the BLOWER MOTOR!!The blower is consuming much amperage due to wear and the resistor can not handle it and fails again!!!
