The correct kit for your application is 69-6540TP or 69-6540TB depending on
color.

You are actually hearing the blow off valve releasing the boost. OE intake
systems are also designed to muffle these loud noises naturally created by
the engines, where a free flowing intake system does not have the baffles
due to them being restrictive resulting in these sounds to be more audible.
Will this fit to my 2014 evo gsr? They are the same models so I’m guessing
it fits??? Hate Cali as well just don’t get caught
