2006 Mitsubishi Galant Crankshaft Positioning Sensor Location

2006 Mitsubishi Galant Crankshaft Positioning Sensor Location

It took me forever to find where this sensor was on my car. No one had a video for the sensor location alone that I could find. So, hopefully some of you can find this useful. To see how to get to it, search for “Changing timing belt for 2006 Galant.” That’s where I finally got visual proof of its location. ** *MAJOR TIP* You only need to take off the 4 bolts surrounding the center bolt on the Crankshaft Pulley.** I made the mistake of taking the center bolt off and pulled my timing belt out of place and had to realign all my pulleys on my timing belt. Good luck!

If anyone knows a site or source that provides diagrams and/or parts locations for specific makes and models, we would really appreciate that information. Thanks.
