I gave mine alittle gas and it stoped over time but still does it sometimes
I’m having the same prob and I changed my oil found out it was a nosiey lifter
I changed the oil right after I completed all the work with Pennzoil 10W-30 as I always have. Is it possible I installed the lash adjusters 180 degrees the wrong way? I need to look at my pictures again to see which way I installed them. I believe I put the hole side of the lash adjuster inside the rocker arm.
Sounds like valve clearances to me, they adjust hydraulically, has it got fresh oil? May have a blocked oilway preventing preasure geting to adjusters. Possibly try an engine oil flush….
