Alexander Munoz says:

Is there a tool to get the knuckle over the joint? That indent seems to be exposed after I put this on.

Kevin Trathen says:

You can buy a MOOG lower control arm with ball joint for 55 bucks off e-bay, it was three bolts and about 45 mins labor, you can get a PAIR of no name control arms for 64 dollars

control arms are $150 for no name, probably Chinese aftermarket…Ball joints were $35 each…more than more than $100 extra per side to purchase the whole control arm…just a lil’ more huh? if the bushings are still good, why replace the whole arm?

CrAnSwIcK says:

about 3 hours for both sides…but I’ve had my front end apart recently for a transmission rebuild, so all the bolts have been either replaced or had anti-seize applied…if suspension/steering components have not been disconnected for a long time, you may encounter seized bolts which can be time consuming to, and even breakage…I have two lancers, and on my other one, I just replaced the clutch and had the ball joint retaining bolt shear off, and then I had to hammer it out with a punch…

Luis Martínez says:

Dude I’ve been looking for how to remove this since last night. Thank you very much! How long did it take?
