I believe it’s possible to put new mufflers on as long as everything else
is in sound condition (pipes, gaskets, flanges, cats, etc) but I’m not for
sure. And yes, depending on the muffler, you can change how it sounds.
Additionally when and if I attempt a dual exhaust on my GM I’ll let ya know
how it goes.

looks like you know what you are doing in them. can I change my stock just
muffler in my grand marquis ie to a flowmaster or magnaflow muffler and
keep all eles stock? will it change tone of my mgm?
