See how to replace the upper seals on your Mercury Tracker 25 in this video from Boats.net. We’ve already removed the lower unit, and if you need to see how to do that you can check out this video: https://youtu.be/kpP4L403mVU

With the lower unit removed, John will guide you through the process of replacing the input shaft seals on your Tracker 25. We need to remove the output shaft and bearing carrier first to access the bottom of the input shaft. Then, we’ll remove the input shaft and replace the seals. The kit we’re using contains seals for both the input and output shafts, so if you want to replace your output shaft seals you can see how to do it here: https://youtu.be/OGIHFmjd0Vo

See this diagram for a better look at the lower unit and input shaft seals: https://www.boats.net/catalog/mercury/outboard-by-year/mercury-outboard/2001/25HP/1025312yn/gear-housing-driveshaft-2-25-1-gear-ratio?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=card_BDN
