Reel Life Fisherman says:

I would like to add .. in saltwater I would not recommend putting loctite on the impeller housing bolts .. use perfect seal or a light coat of anti-seize .. the factory uses loctite there I wouldn’t personally..

ticketwlk says:

can i use the o rings supplied in the kit 18-3214d in place of that beveled taller seal?

Jeff Selano says:

that is by a mile the best video on the internet for this. Thank you

Matt Pingel says:

I replaced mine after watching your video, I’m also is 150 four stroke, now it is making a noise and vibration coming from behind the cowling almost seems like it’s coming from the water impeller area ,not sure what it is , any info would be great

MrRaynemaker says:

Well I have some bad news for you. You put your impeller in backwards. If you look back(9:29) at the one coming out, you'll see that the fins are bent backwards to the one that you installed. (13:26) I really hope that you have not damaged your outboard.

Don Swazy says:

How long should it take to start peeing with muffs on and at first start? 10 seconds, 20, 30? Thanks.

A zonum says:

I’m a little confused on the bump start . How many times do you bump start . It also sounded like the camera picked up a engine sound was the engine running? T.I.A.

Are you near Sacramento? I have a 2020 75hp Murcury 4 stroke and I need my 3 year service. To be honest I don't really trust my local shop especially for what they're charging. Thanks for all the info brother!

Isn't the impeller put in the wrong direction,I know it will correct once the motor is started, but seems it would be rough on the impeller?

Lou says:

Very nice video. Haven’t decided whether I’ll change in neutral or forward. Since I’m alone I may go forward. Wish you’d give the plywood slot dimensions.
