I would like to add .. in saltwater I would not recommend putting loctite on the impeller housing bolts .. use perfect seal or a light coat of anti-seize .. the factory uses loctite there I wouldn’t personally..
can i use the o rings supplied in the kit 18-3214d in place of that beveled taller seal?

I replaced mine after watching your video, I’m also is 150 four stroke, now it is making a noise and vibration coming from behind the cowling almost seems like it’s coming from the water impeller area ,not sure what it is , any info would be great
Well I have some bad news for you. You put your impeller in backwards. If you look back(9:29) at the one coming out, you'll see that the fins are bent backwards to the one that you installed. (13:26) I really hope that you have not damaged your outboard.

Isn't the impeller put in the wrong direction,I know it will correct once the motor is started,but seems it would be rough on the impeller?
