trying to replace the battery, but the hold-down bolt is rusted so the bolt
just spins in place infinitely. Do you have any tricks for breaking that
bolt free?

the only thing I could recommend would be to find the bottom of the bolt
and clamp it with a vice grip.. other than that I have no idea.
