I got mine at “verado club dot com”–sorry, you can’t put a link directly
into a YouTube comment. But it should be easy enough for you to find. It’s
the first result that comes up if you Google “Verado Club.” 🙂
@frostyan Sorry, I only know the Pro XS. There is a good chance that they
are the same, as the fuel filter is shared by the Verado engine as well,
but I can’t tell you 100% for sure. I will do the air filter (which is part
of the air compressor assembly) in the spring. I intend to capture better
video of my maintenance rituals next year. The lighting was poor in this
first attempt, and I also did not narrate.
May I recommend checking for debris in the filter chamber !
where do i get the filter tool. mine want come loose with out one?
Oops, the parts site is “verado club parts dot com.” No spaces between the
words.
@treepog yes, it should be exactly the same. Very easy.
Do a Google search for “verado club parts.” The Verados use the same tool.
Sounds like a good idea to me. 🙂
Great job. I am getting ready to change the fuel filter on a 300XS…looks
like it will be the same procedure. Thanks!!
Thanks for the video I have a 2008 opti 200. Are they the same. And how do
I change the air filter
Matt I have the same engine and when I hook it up to the hose and rev it up
it sounds like its missing or does it do that when in neutral and
protective mode kicks in?
You have to get the sensor on the throttle linkage exactly right to.. I had
to play with mine for awhile to get it right..
