@84chevyguy I meant to say that it had some shavings in it before I re
poured it back into the motor, I did use a magnet bar to get them out
before hand, I also replaced the standard drain plug with a magnetized one
to catch future shavings. Thank you for your concern.-Thanks for watching

@84chevyguy The motor in the video is a Ford 5.0 (Windsor 302) EFI. Are you
sure the early 5.0’s are aluminum?- I thought it was cast iron (I may be
mistaken, I never checked it out). I agree with you there- that there are
some stupid people on youtube, I’m no mechanic but I do have a good
knowledge of what to do, how to fix stuff, etc. My dad was a AMC and GM
Master Technician (not at the same time) in the early 70’s to the late
1980’s. Thanks for watching.

What made you pick Castrol GTX High Mileage?

MA55ACRE says:

@VICNASTY1989 ok i was about to say….. but remember that aluminum is not
attracted to a magnet…. so beware of that… but yea im a mechanic and i
freak sometimes over stupid people on youtube…lol Btw is that the 5.0 or
4.6

Persian Pride says:

hey i use this oil for all my cars that dont require synthetic, its really
good in reducing oil burn off.

VICNASTY1989 says:

@OSDCrusher My friend recommended it to me because he had good luck with it
in his ’93 Stealth.

MA55ACRE says:

ARE YOU CRAZY….? why didnt u run a magnet through that before u put that
back in there even the most microscopic shaving will fuck that engine
up…..
