Sorry ,I’m not quite certain what you are asking. ?

Vaklev Bastian says:

hi can you do a video to use or turn on the climate control panel for the AC

fupabox says:

If I’m not mistaken it should be similar..the diagnostic procedure is similar with slightly different codes..check the link I added in the video description for a pdf download for diagnostic procedure and codes

Sir,
Does this demo. Apply to a mb c220 1995 ?

re-checking my answer to you ..I don’t think 14.3 is all that high depending on which side of the a/c system the sensor reads at…mine appears to read on the low pressure side and is at 2.7 bar and works perfectly…if your model reads the high side pressure 14.3 may be completely normal…I’ll have to do some digging to get a more acceptable answer

Excellent, I thought it may have been a wiring issue. I bought the car last winter so never tried the air until late summer. I live in England but had spent most of the summer in the US so the car was never used, so by the time I got around to trying the air it was a bit late in the year to really troubleshoot. I’ll have it pressure tested and refilled after Christmas.

fupabox says:

Ahh… kk thanks for the info..much appreciated

Youtube doesn’t let you post links in the comments. You have to put a “.” between “benzworld” and “org” and remove the space that’s there.

fupabox says:

cool…that link isn’t working though..even a cut-and-paste

fupabox says:

the fluorescent color around the compressor is the dye in the refrigerant so you may have a leak…if your reading is correct 14.3 bar is a ton more pressure than the cooling system should have in it…I would get the system pressure tested by a garage to be safe

fupabox says:

no unfortunately they aren’t compatible…different computers and sensors

TheAsiantard says:

Hey mate I’ve got the standard dash ‘ turn knobs instead of LCD display’ . Is it possible to do a conversion?

fleetfighter says:

mine reads 07 – 14.3. WHen I get under the car I can a very fluorescent coloring around the compressor.

freakyk64 says:

Here’s a list people can print out if they can’t find the codes.

fupabox says:

yes it will..the pressure switch is there to only allow the compressor to work if there is a certain amount of pressure in the system…the refrigerant has lubricant in it as well and the compressor would burn out without sufficient lubricant/pressure..so the pressure switch shuts it off

cheyennedogsoldiers says:

Thank you this is very interesting: earlier in the year my ac compressor stopped working after the EC light came on while running the ac. Now from digging a little I’ve discovered the Eco light will operate if there is not enough refrigerant so do you think that it may also switch the compressor off?
