You did not mention the small spring holding the pads on their place I think.

very informative! I'm pretty sure I will go back to revisit this video when I change the front brake pad on my w124. by the way, is there a minimum thickness of the disc – like once it's thinner than certain mm, you have to replace the disc and pad together?
