oh boy I got lucky, I have a 2008 E-350 with 130k miles the same PZEV sealed fuel pump and was covered by dealer the warranty will expire on November 30th of 2021 so if you have one you better get in to Benz and they will change it under Emission warranty Good luck.

Hi I have the same tank and have power to relay and pump . But no power to the sending unit when turning the key.when I jump the 3and 5 pins on relay board the pump comes on but don't pump fuel to hose and sounds like the pump is pumping fuel back in to the tank. But y don't the pump come on when key is turn is this a ecm.or fuel shut off.

Nsl Vega says:

I sprayed carb cleaner & it starts right up. Then It Dies 3-7 seconds later. I have a new fuel pump so what should I replace/ swap out?

Silvana S says:

You don't have to replace tank!!! I installed an exterior fuel pump in trunk, tapped bottom of tank, ran fuel line thru chassis to tank and then installed small fuel filter after pump and ran line next to back seat and installed a bulkhead fitting to top of tank so I could install fuel line to fuel filter which I had purchased online. I disconnected line from burned out pump and installed mine. Been running it for one week so far without problem. Lastly, the reason the pumps fail on these stupid tanks is my original fuel filter was completely clogged thus burning out the pump. Idiots at MB don't tell you either in maintenance book or owners manual to change out fuel filter which is very easy as you know. If you want more info I could post a video showing you what I did. My email is markso100@yahoo.com. Total cost less then $400 an a couple of hours of labor.

Mimi Lamare says:
