Hello,
In this video I will show you how to reset the transmission control module in any Mercedes from 1996 to 2016, 5 speed 722.6 and 7 speed 722.9 transmissions.
Procedure:
1- turn key on 2 clicks.
2- press gas pedal down pass kick down switch and hold for 10 seconds.
3- turn key off.
4- release gas pedal.
5- wait 2 minutes with doing anything.

You are a TERRIBLE Teacher. You never said what to do after you hold the pedal down….then shut off the ignition….so do you remove your foot then…or during the wait….or sooner? You edited the video "RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS TEST"! That makes you a confusing & ridiculous teacher….so do NOT try to be one. All you do is bring people here….then screw us over…Mr "ACCENT". I swear…there are MILLIONS of video's where the people teaching…can barely speak English since it is their SECOND LANGUAGE! There is another video here…where the guy teaches you perfectly folks….and he has NO ACCENT.

does it work with manual transmission?

how do it with mercedes 96 E320 with M104engine ? some time is delay and other times can be fast..
I'm not sure if this applies to our cars (I own a w220 02 s55 amg) but I thought after you reset it you're supposed to go into each gear for 5 seconds and you do that twice.

Pls help! I use E350 4matic 7speed v6! 4 days ago, gears couldn't shift and the message on dashboard " maintenance required. Cant shift gear. Visit dealer" but I could move car so I invited a technician who changed the transmission oil and replaced malfunctioning auxiliary battery. But still I cant shift gear. What might the problem be???

Hi i have an E350 2009 model, the gears keeps shifting to only 1 gear and the reverse gear. In an actual fact the gears don't change anymore it moves on 1 gear and now the mechanic told me to change the solonoid value which this is a bit costy for me, can i do the same will it work for? Please answer I'm so in a desperate mood
