You may be surprised to hear you need to replace a control arm, especially if the vehicle is never driven hard, or has been in an accident. More often than not, the arm is in fine condition, but the bushings or ball joint have worn out, causing noise, play in the wheel, or other unsafe conditions. This video shows you how to install a new TRQ upper control arm in your 2003-09 Mercedes-Benz E320

So does the car have to be loaded when installing

Henry Suarez says:

how did you you get to tighten the nut to the bolt under the master brake cylinder?

Pedro Brambila says:

Damn that was very good been trying to find a great video to show me how to do this

Cuzimada Papushkian says:

Great video! One question though. How did the assistant get hold of the nut to counterhold when you loosened the bolts? I have a GL with the same setup and the front nut, while visible, is pretty hard to get to. The back one is under the master brake cylinder and is not even visible, let alone reachable. Any tips on how you got a hold of them? Even more importantly, how did you get the nut onto the bolt when you installed?

Mercy 53 says:

Only showed you the easy side, not the O/S which is much more involved which requires the removal of fuse box. Not helpful at all.
