Phat Chau says:

How about a video on how to change the the oil for a “07 S550”?. Thanks!!!

Rapidmovement says:

Could you please show how to change the oil filter, too? I´m from europe
and i have a CLK V6 diesel engine. Are there any differneces between
gasoline and diesel engines regarding oil and filter change?

BenzWerks says:

@tem1947 lol yea bad cut, check out the sl55 oil change it goes through the
o-ring change and the special wrench

discodd94 says:

Your videos are as cool as these cars. Superbly presented. A job very well
done. Thanks dd

jbgulfport1 says:

You never show changing the filter…

whelen9m says:

yes pls to the transmission fluid video…I just bought a C300 and yeah
loving it. I’m a Tech and I understand. As for the transmission and this is
a question to anyone, do you need a scan tool to read Transmission temps??
or is it drain and fill?

dzu toob says:

Thanks for the tutorial video. Good tip with Mighty Vac oil removal
technique.

Casperiga says:

I do not definitly recommand the way you oil it.

Tat3rTotts says:

One more question, would it be bad to use 2 quarts of Lucas Oil Stabilizer
when changing the oil (with 6.5 Q of Mobile One) for an E55 AMG? I’ve used
it in all my other cars and the engines have all done wonderfully well past
100K miles. So what is your take on using Lucas in an AMG?

BenzWerks says:

@extremediyer lol yea its a nice too if you dont want to break your back.

Ali Jam says:

Thanks for all the help guys please do the tranny fluid video.

BenzWerks says:

usually it says on the oil filter housing. but i believe its something low
like 25nm

Tat3rTotts says:

Does the mityvac get all oil out or does it still leave a quart or so in
the engine? I’ve heard it recommended using vac vs drain thru plug bc (in
e55 amg) there are issues with stripping the plug (something about 2 plugs
and one is plastic?), but then I’ve read using a vac doesn’t get all oil
out? Any advice one that?

rungsat1 says:

I have a 2004 C240 4matic W203. I dont have a dipstick and cant figure out
which tube to use to extract the oil. on my engine theres also a front tube
with a red cap by the coolant resevoir. So which one is for the engine oil?
Is it also possible to get a dipstick for my car instead of relying on my
startrek computer oil sensor? Ive been scouring the internet for hours and
some of the cars dont have a front dipstick tube and the Haynes manual
doesnt tell you what tubes are what!!!? Thanks

A Fong says:

you have a video SL55 AMG MERCEDES oil change, you mention to tighten oil
filter to 25 newton meters. Is this the same for 2006 C230?

Darron C says:

Synthethc is suppose to last a little longer but if you change every 3,000
miles any oil will do with a changed filter. Dont get fooled by spending
extra money for extra products for add ins with oil, youre not racing thats
when you need Lucas or thicker oils.

Darron C says:

As long as your car is lubricated for the moving parts and not over filled,
it doesnt matter if you use synthetic or regular.

zech007 says:

Use an IR thermometer to check the fluid temp by checking it at the
transmission oil pan just you’ll have 1-2*C off fill according to fill temp
via finding the transmission service PDF.

Darron C says:

Great video for oil changes but where is the oil filter change?

Kerry Flynn says:

Is the Special MB Wrench the same on all mercedes? I need one for a 2010
e550.

hombre83 says:

Hello BenzWerks, Could you please indicate which video I could watch to
change the actual Oil Filter on a 2007 C 280 ? Thanks,

Djonkie Bonk says:

What are you babbling about? This W204 is easier to change oil/filter on
than my Maxima. I actually have to crawl underneath the car to remove the
filter and I had to basically custom make an oil filter removal tool so I
could get the damn filter off. On top of that an oil change in this Benz is
once a year or every 10-12k which if far nicer than me crawling under my
car 4 times a year to do this.

zech007 says:

Even though Mercedes designed the dipstick to utilize the suction to draw
up the oil for OC’s, its still better to drain from the bottom.

Jiraiya FIFA says:

@BenzWerks! I have a 08 c300 4 matic and did see any vids for brake jobs
and other things like spark plugs, filers etc…….please help!?

bigbudha168 says:

where in ny are you? so i can bring my car to you.

dadangman says:

great job! so this is how MB dealers work on my c350 also? Not draining at
the bottom of the pan?

BenzWerks says:

@Rapidmovement check out the sl55 amg oil filter change that we did, we
change the o-rings and filter. diesel and gasoline use different filters

evo552 says:

Wow this makes so much sense man i would love to do this instead of
draining the plug this is faster and easier

Terrence McMahon says:

Never show you loosening the oil filter with the “Special MB Wrench”.
Thanks

jamcousi9 says:

These cars are entirely way to friggen complicated.. I understand that they
are designed around to benefit the dealer service dept but c,mon this is
ridiculous. These cars are useless and timebombs after 90k miles so why
make a disposable car so complicated?

Trukerinfulleffect says:

That’s looks retarded, why don’t u just drain the oil at the drain
plug,dahhhh

evo552 says:

Wow this makes so
