Do you know of a way to connect the emblem to have it on ONLY when you unlock/lock the car? I want to have the symbol work the same way the puddle lights under the side mirrors do.

where did you buy the thing on the side of the door that beams the emblem on the ground? Or is that come with the car?
I have a E350. My fuse box completely full compared to every video I've seen. I tapped into #35 which is for a hybrid (I assumed it would work) but it didn't. I just think thats easier than pulling out and t-tapping into the headlight. The headlight isn't as easily accessible. Any ideas?
What did you use to tap into that grey light cable?

Thanks for showing the correct way to wire the star! It should come on and off with the auto headlamp sensor as well as the headlamp switch. It should not run all the time. Kudos

Hey, going to get the same style for my SL55. Won't I get a error code if I splice into my headlight power wire? I have HID and they only use 35 watts. From my experience my car throws an error code anytime I hook something up that is not factory. I upgraded to HID fogs but the ballast had a code cancel feature.

What year is your car? I tried hooking it up to the headlight wires. I do not have a Grey and white wire. I tried all the red wires, light stays on even when car is off. Thank you for your help.
