Thanks this was great help installing in my 2005 Mazda3. ipod nano and ipod touch both work well. Am so happy I dont have to mess about with CDs anymore.
I have a 2006 3 GT. It has the Media button but no aux plug in the console. Cna I still have an Aux plug?

This unit dose not… You will want the Dice unit for Text… with the Dice you are unable to control it from the iPod… that is why i went with the Xcarlink.

first of, thank you for this great video! as of yesterday i am a proud owner of a 04 mazda 3. i strongly assume the 04 modles will still have the same port on the back of the stereo. would you know if i’m correct with my assumption? thx

It would be a bit hard in a mazda3 though…it has that huge integrated dash radio…
