Secondary Air Injection low “engine light” fixed! I replaced all 3 solenoids and now.. The air pump is finally working and car seems to be running great! Bought these off Amazon for 10$ each. I’ve watched so much rubbish on this issue, some ramble on others are incomplete and leave you wanting more.
I have the 661 code on my 04 which has done only 40k.
I don’t trust mechanics round here and having an engineering background I want to do this.
Firstly I noticed the ssv valve is dead. It’s not not moving but not seized.
Secondly there’s no vacuum coming up the pipe to the actuator. On inspection there’s a large blockage in the tube. I can’t get it out, so the manifold has to come off.
