5:00 I do not get it! why you need to remove the BELT tensioner once you removed the belt?? …after removing the belt just remove the Alternator! boom! done! wasted time..okay I got it the ALTERNATOR bolt….is BLOCKED access because of the tensioner pulley…

On my 2015 CX-5 2.5L I had to unbolt the AC compressor, hang it with a wire to get the alternator out and it was still a pain. At the time I replaced my alternator there wasn't a video or link but now there is.

Easiest way is to remove alternator is to remove intake manifold ( 6 bolts ) on the 2015 Mazda
The tensioner is a 17 mm .
You also remove and install the tensioner with the bolt in the assembly as well as the alternator.
Never use pliers in wiring harnesses

We’re you able to use the same retainers that you took out? I thought that was the hardest part getting those stupid things out I thing I broke half of them
